 Most patients experience a mild “snapping” on the skin as the laser is moved over the treatment area. Clarity has a specialized skin-cooling system that provides a more comfortable treatment 

 Depending on the size and area to be treated, it could take anywhere from 5-30 minutes. While you may see some hair reduction from your first treatment, hair grows in cycles, which requires several treatments to effectively remove unwanted hair growth. Most clients need at least five treatments, spaced 4-8 weeks apart, for optimal results. 

 Usually the area to be treated should be shaved first to ensure a more comfortable and effective treatment but your provider  will provide you with detailed instructions prior to your series of treatments. 

 The discomfort level of treating pigmented lesions is generally mild and will vary depending on the area being treated. Your provider will work with you to ensure the procedure is comfortable. 

 Depending on the size and area to be treated, it could take anywhere from 5-15 minutes. 

 There is little-to-no downtime. You should be able to return to normal activities and wear makeup right away. 

 Some veins may immediately disappear while others will take time to be broken down and removed by your body.

The frequency of facials may vary depending on your skin type and concerns. Our estheticians can help determine the best schedule for you. For most skin types it is recommended to get a facial every 4 to 6 weeks. Although, many people will practice great skin care at home and will visit us just occasionally. Your esthetician can recommend a personalized schedule depending on your skin type and/or conditions to maintain healthy, glowing skin. 

There are many benefits to getting a facial, some of them include: a customized deep cleansing and exfoliation, removal of blackheads and clogged pores resulting in a more even texture and improved appearance, detoxifying and hydrating the skin by increasing circulation to assist the aging process.

 Absolutely! Because the products used are customized specifically for your individual needs almost everyone can enjoy the relaxing and beneficial results of a facial.

Your skin may continue to purge after a deep cleansing especially if that includes extraction of blackheads and clogged pores.  We take our treatments one step further, helping to prevent these break outs, by including  a short high frequency treatment if needed to reduce any bacteria that may have been disturbed during the extraction process. We may also opt to add customized ingredients like willow herb to your treatment to aide in the ridding the skin of bacteria. Your esthetician will guide you in the best recourse.

This is a painless method of using ultra violet light to destroy the bacteria present in a blemish, and can help heal existing acne lesions. With 4 to 8 weeks of regular treatments, up to 70% of moderate Acne can be reduced.

 Facials are a great preventative treatment to help you beat wrinkles before they occur. Facials generally include facial massage. This helps to increase blood circulation and relax the facial muscles, which in turn detoxes the skin and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You may also opt for a deeper wrinkle treatment like the RevitaPen (our 30 day Collagen Boost)

In most cases, we use natural and bio-identical ingredients. Our clean, non-toxic formulas are holistic because they do not cause harm to the skin. Osmosis opted not to focus on organic products because we do not think they make lasting changes to the skin. Organic is really important in foods because of the properties of pesticides and the additives otherwise present. In skincare, this is not an issue so there is no advantage. However, there is a distinct disadvantage because they only allow 5% or less of the key ingredients that make real change in the skin.  Immerse's primary oil is Emu Oil which is richer and heavier than Nourish, making it great for massages and promoting wound healing. Nourish's main ingredient is frequency-enhanced organic avocado oil to harmonize, heal, and regenerate (like our Elixirs). This makes it very unique! Nourish is a lighter oil and can even be used under makeup or as a daily moisturizer for overly dry, dehydrated skin.

 These are ingredients that are sometimes confused. Pentylene Glycol, found in our Vitamin A treatment serums, is derived from coconut, though ours is bio-identically made. It is non-toxic and not harmful. Zemea (Propanediol), found in Catalyst AC-11, is corn-derived, and has received the ECOCERT seal. It is non-toxic and not harmful. Our bio-identical form of Butylene Glycol used in our Refresh Revitalizing Eye Cream, is the same form found in cocoa butter and the roots of the Common Rue plant. Both Pentylene Glycol and Propanediol are humectants, helping the skin to retain moisture. 

 There are usually 2 types of PC used in skincare: pure, native PC (PC) and Hydrogenated PC (PC-H). Both are used for very different things. PC is used for its liposomal, transdermal delivery properties. When you hydrogenate PC, you remove that property. PC-H is used only for its highly emollient, moisturizing properties. We use PC-H in Quench and Refresh. But all the "delivery system" products (Correct, Renew, Clarify, Replenish, StemFactor, and Facial Infusion), all have PURE PC to ensure adequate delivery. Our supplier also indicated that that most, if not all, of the allergenic soy proteins are removed from PC, so people who have soy allergies, are not usually effected by topical PC. 

 Glucose is the source of our Hyaluronic Acid and is gluten free, vegan, and is not tested on animals. We also believe in high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid because it minimizes its potential to be an irritant to the skin. 

 Benzyl alcohol is used in small amounts as part of a preservative that meets Ecocert standards and is NaTrue certified. This ingredient is often used to dissolve other ingredients to get them into formulation and evaporates during that process. Due to the source, method, and amounts used, it is not drying or harmful to the skin in any way. 

 Sodium Hydroxide is a pH adjuster that improves consistency. It is an antioxidant that is not harmful to the skin. Since this is a potent molecule, it is used in very small amounts. Reports found in EWG or elsewhere suggesting that it is an irritant are describing a 100% solution of Sodium Hydroxide. 

 Each formulation is tested through a Quality Control process that consists of monitoring the product's efficacy and expiration date. The Skincare and Wellness products have a 24+ month shelf life except for Rescue & Immune Activator, which have an 18 month shelf life. 

 Yes, we use sustainable palm oil in our skincare products. 

 We use a small amount of dimethicone in one product, Catalyst AC-11. Dimethicone is not harmful to the skin in small amounts (1.5%) because it is too large of a molecule to penetrate the skin. However, in amounts above 5% it can become occlusive to the skin and is not advised. We have to use a slip agent in Catalytst AC-11 because the patented, highly active components in this product are VERY sticky. 

 Osmosis has revolutionized skincare by delivering ingredients into the deep layers of the skin. By coating our ingredients with a liposome called phosphatidylcholine, product penetration is increased by 600%. This liposome shares the same properties with all of our 'coated' cells. When used to coat ingredients, it naturally enhances penetration into the cell as well as protects it during the liposome delivery. 

 Our Activating Mists have multiple functions; they have been treated with unique anti-bacterial and anti-fungal frequencies that maintain a healthy probiotic population on the skin. They have also been treated with frequencies that are designed to activate repair as well as being calming, and they have unique active ingredients to promote rejuvenation and energize the skin. 

 Our stem cells come from carefully screened adult adipose tissue. There are no actual stem cells in StemFactor, just the growth factors they make. 

 The acceptable range of Vitamin A while pregnant is 2,500 - 10,000 IU (international units) per/day and 4,000 - 15,000 IU while breastfeeding. When using Osmosis Active A Serums, you will not exceed 300 IU per/day even if using the strongest serum available at 2 pumps 2 times per day. Our Facial Infusion treatment is also safe to receive while pregnant or breastfeeding as it does not exceed 1,500 IU of Vitamin A. Of course it is always recommended to consult with your physician while pregnant or breastfeeding before the use of any active products or supplements. 

 Our bodies are designed with very precise hormone levels that are specific to each individual. These hormones are monitored and adjusted throughout the day to keep the cells, organs, and mind functioning at optimum levels.  It will not make them ineffective. A small minority of clients may experience some menstrual changes that may make it slightly lighter or heavier than normal. 

 Each supplement has its own recommendations or contraindications. Skin Clarifier and Skin Defense should not be used in pregnancy or during breastfeeding. Skin Defense also needs to be used carefully if you are on medication so make sure the medication and Skin Defense are taken at least an hour apart.

The Elleebana Lash Lift is a semi-permanent treatment that gives your natural lashes a look of illusion, perfectly curled lashes with added definition. It is a great alternative to eyelash extensions or every day curler, as it requires very little maintenance and has long lasting results. 

The Elleebana Lash Lift is for clients that are happy with the length of their natural lashes but want a semi-permanent curl, enhanced mascara look. It is not recommended for chemotherapy clients. 

Approximately 45-60 minutes. 

No, a certified and trained Elleebana Lash Lift specialist will perform the procedure with proper care & technique. 

This procedure requires very little maintenance and is perfect for anyone that doesn't have time for regular upkeep (lash curling). The Elleebana Lash Lift will last up to 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle. Please note that biotin, and/or medication(s) can affect the lash cycle, resulting in quicker lash shedding. 

Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. Avoid steam rooms and saunas, overall, refrain from all heat. After 24 hours, you may go about with your daily routine. The Elleebana Lash Lift has no restrictions or maintenance like eyelash extensions. 

Allow 24 hours before applying any type of product to your lashes. After 24 hours, you may apply make-up; mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, or any type of products you desire; it will not affect the lashes. 

 The process is very similar to eyelash extensions. Your bottom lashes and top eyelids are covered with a gel pad. Your eyes remain closed during the entire process. Depending on the length of your natural lashes, a silicone rod (comes in 3 sizes - small, medium, and large) is placed on top of the eyelids. Once the size is determined; the rod is placed onto the eyelids and a lash glue (water-soluble) is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod - a lash setting solution is applied for 5-8 minutes on both sides. The setting solution then gets removed with a micro-swab and the lash neutralizer solution is applied on both sides for 5 min.

After Lash lift is complete if desired, the tinting process will take place after the neutralizer is removed. The tinting portion takes about 5-10 minutes.
